LARA GLAUBER

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

“Servant leadership is the core value that speaks the most to me. Years ago, Michael [Ellenhorn] and I were having a conversation and he told me I should never be too good to take out the trash. That, to me, is servant leadership: if I am going to ask you to take out the trash, I’m going to take out the trash.”

Lara Glauber describes the foundation of her role at Decipher as being the person who gets things done.

As Chief Financial Officer, not only is she responsible for overseeing the company’s finances, she also manages its day-to-day operations. Lara fulfills roles ranging from hiring manager and human resources contact to manager of facilities, technology, and vendor relationships.

Lara earned her bachelor’s degree in political science, with a minor in accounting, from Southeast Missouri State University. She completed her master’s degree in accounting in 2020 from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

She initially worked in politics after completing her undergraduate degree, serving as a field organizer in 2006 for a U.S. Senatorial campaign in Missouri and a 2008 presidential campaign.

In 2009, she transitioned to accounting, working for a well-known accounting firm in St. Louis. She went on to manage the firm’s tax practice.

In 2012, she joined Decipher’s predecessor firm, where she served as Chief Operating Officer. Lara joined Decipher at its launch, becoming its CFO.

In her role, Lara is driven by seeing Decipher’s continued growth and contributing to a company where she knows she can help bring about positive change.
