Through our searches we identify and assess company and individual backgrounds and history, a thorough list of verifications, legal history, financial screening, press and social media coverage, and select interviews, depending on the chosen level of scrutiny.

Human Intelligence

How it works

Decipher uses our renowned first-person human intelligence to conduct both enhanced referencing and reputational Interviews along with interviews with identified members of company leadership which enhance and complement our four levels of cross industry due diligence.

  • Enhanced Referencing & Reputational Interviews: We conduct in-depth interviews with three to five disclosed references either provided by a candidate or company, depending on the type of due diligence being conducted. We seek and deliver useful commentary about the subject’s personal and professional skills, relationships, cultural fit, and more.
  • Bespoke Interviews: We interview the candidate, subject, or member of company leadership utilizing a list of questions established with the client to learn first-hand what the person decides to disclose, if any information differs from our objective findings, and take note of their demeanor during the conversation.

The result

We summarize our findings from the in-depth interviews to develop and present a holistic view and fully developed profile of the candidate or subject. In addition, the intelligence we derive from these exchanges enhances our reports beyond verifications using objective sources by uncovering and assessing first-hand discrepancies with our findings.
